    I started a new diet at new year, but I'm struggling to keep to it. I just wanted to lose a bit of weight, but the more I deny myself things the more I crave them.

    Have you thought about why you are doing it? Is it to become healthier? Are there any other ways you can do it such as through exercise instead? I think it's normal to want something the more you stop yourself from having it. If you take up exercise instead, you'll be able continue to have the things you like.

    Could you try getting the healthier alternative of what you crave instead, so that way you're not denying yourself anything? For example getting reduced fat cheese etc.
